Project Manager, Paint, Coatings & Adhesives

Are you looking to work for a company that provides an innovative work environment, and your voice is heard? We have a position for a Project Manager, Coating & Bonding Equipment Commissioning to work onsite at our client in Warsaw, IN.

What you will be doing:
  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of coating and bond equipment commissioning activities.
  • Organize and manage contractors, vendors, and service providers throughout project phases.
  • Develop project schedules, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, quality, and operations teams to support successful startup.
  • Oversee equipment installation readiness, testing, validation, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Facilitate meetings, communicate project status, and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Manage punch lists, open items, and final turnover documentation.
  • Support process readiness, operator training, and handoff to operations.
What you'll need to be successful:
  • 10+ years of experience managing coating, bonding, adhesive, dispensing, paint, sealing, or similar manufacturing equipment installation and commissioning projects.
  • Proven experience leading contractors, vendors, equipment suppliers, and internal teams through equipment startup, validation, and production readiness activities.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment commissioning, process validation, troubleshooting, and handoff to operations.
  • Experience developing and managing project schedules, tracking milestones, managing punch lists, and driving issue resolution to meet startup timelines.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, or a related technical field (equivalent experience will be considered).
