1st Shift Swiss Lathe Set Up Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 25.00 to $ 35.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Swiss Lathe machines to manufacture precision orthopedic components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Install tooling, make offsets, and adjust machine parameters to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
• Perform tool changes, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

1st Shift Swiss Lathe Set Up

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC Swiss Lathe machining and set-up experience required.
• CNC programming experience is highly preferred and eligible for increased pay.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and maintaining tight tolerances.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment.
