Description:

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the efficient operation of mandrel machines
  • Tracking of pieces produced
  • Inspecting final products for quality
  • Work areas must be kept safe, clean, and organized
Working Conditions:

Manufacturing plant; will be required to wear personal protective equipment per policy and may be requested to work overtime per production schedule.

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift 55 pounds consistently.
  • The ability to read and write in English.
  • A thorough knowledge of mandrel product lines and construction requirements.
  • Capability of meeting production standards and exceeding established standards on occasion during normal production runs.
  • Maintain records of material used and machine conditions.
  • Basic tape reading knowledge.
Typical Duties and

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Understands and operates mandrel hose machines and downstream equipment for production and quality of the product manufactured. Includes 1st article inspection and audit sheets.
  • Responsible for maintenance and general condition of machine and equipment in area. Completion of work request forms if needed.
  • Responsible for correct reporting of labor and materials used in production as well as footage of product manufactured.
  • Responsible for maintaining open communications with supervisor regarding condition of equipment, quality of raw materials, and product produced.
  • Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.
  • Responsible for housekeeping and organization of your area and related areas in department.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management as required.
