We are looking for experienced CNC Swiss Lathe Setup for a well-established orthopedic manufacturing company. These positions require strong, hands-on Swiss lathe setup experience. 1st and 3rd shift available. Up to $35/hour depending on experience.

1st Shift Swiss Lathe Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 22.00 to $ 35.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)

• Perform complete setups on CNC Swiss lathes from start through first-piece approval.
• Set and change tooling, collets, guide bushings, bar feeders, and other machine components.
• Perform tool touch-offs and set proper tool and work offsets.
• Load, read, and make necessary adjustments to CNC programs.
• Make adjustments to feeds, speeds, offsets, and tooling to maintain part specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Produce precision orthopedic components while maintaining tight tolerances.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot tooling, dimensional, surface-finish, and machine-related issues.

1st Shift Swiss Lathe Operator

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of CNC Swiss Lathe experience REQUIRED.
• Must have hands-on experience performing full Swiss lathe setups.
• Must be able to set up machines independently from beginning to first good part.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds.
• Ability to read and understand CNC programs and make adjustments at the machine.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand dimensions and tight tolerances.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
