Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up machines, inspecting products, and ensuring production items run smoothly through machining areas in accordance with strict quality and quantity standards. You will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of manufacturing excellence while working in a collaborative, team-driven environment.

- Machine Setup & Operation:
Set up and operate CNC machines, lathes, mills, or machining centers for product manufacturing. - Quality Assurance:
Continuously check products to ensure they meet strict quantity and quality standards. - Data Tracking:
Record accurate production data through the DPI terminal and meticulously maintain count cards. - Process Improvement:
Actively participate in ongoing process improvements to optimize efficiency and safety. - Cross-Functional Support:
Perform additional manufacturing responsibilities as needed, which may include non-destructive testing, cell support, mass finishing, injection molding, and polishing. - Safety & Maintenance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and perform routine daily maintenance on machinery to ensure a safe, clean working environment.
- Precision Measuring:
Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, comparators, and indicators. - Versatility:
Experience or interest in secondary processes like mass finishing, injection molding, polishing, or non-destructive testing.
High School
Experience1-4 years
Qualifications- Experience:
High School diploma (or equivalent) plus two years of machining experience on CNC lathes and/or mills OR four semesters of verified vocational/high school machine shop training combined with one year of CNC experience. - Technical Setup:
Demonstrated ability to perform setups on CNC machines. - Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly in a production environment. - Teamwork:
Strong ability to work effectively within a collaborative, cellular team environment.
Working hours:
2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
