What You Can Expect
This position is responsible for various finishing operations that follow the machining and polishing operations in the manufacturing process.
How You'll Create Impact- May be required to do some or all of these tasks in a call:
Material handling, sorting, cleaning, de-burring, straightening, blasting, stress relief, NDT preparation, vibratory/ tumbling, immersion cleaning, electro polishing, etching, and cutoff saw operation. - Read and interpret blueprints
- Measure the products using precision measuring instruments to identify/ verify products.
- Record inspection records, prepare and revise setup sheets, record preventative maintenance, training and other record keeping as required in the cell.
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to use precision measuring devices.
- Must be able tow work without supervision
- Dependent on the specific department assignment, may be expected to lift between 20 to 50 lbs.
- High School diploma or GED
- Cell Process Certification
