Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Night Shift travel nurse opportunity in Warsaw, IN. Join our Emergency Department team on a 13-week travel contract providing critical, trauma, and acute care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Ideal for experienced ER RNs and emergency department nurses seeking Indiana nursing jobs and Midwest travel nursing experience.
Job Details- Location: Warsaw, IN 46580 – Charming community with lakes and parks; great quality of life for travel nurses and Indiana nursing professionals.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: March 30, 2026
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights), including every 3rd weekend
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680–$1,770 per week
- Unit: Emergency Department (20 beds) – ER / Acute Care
- Facility Size: 72 beds
- Patient Ratio: 4:1
- Electronic Medical Record: Cerner
- Dress Code: Any shade of blue scrubs (navy blue preferred)
- Active RN license in Indiana (compact license not accepted unless valid in IN)
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency or Critical Care nursing experience (ER RN, trauma nursing, or acute care experience preferred)
- Strong critical care skills, including experience with arterial lines, chest tubes, IV drips, and emergency codes
- Comfortable with Cerner EMR documentation and acute care workflows
- Must be able to provide required licenses and certifications upon submission
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
- Deliver high-quality emergency and acute care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients as an ER Registered Nurse
- Respond and manage critical situations including STEMI, stroke alerts, respiratory failure, and codes
- Manage and monitor patients with complex needs, including arterial lines, chest tubes, and titratable IV drips
- Provide trauma nursing care and participate in rapid assessment and stabilization
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, and lab) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and timely using Cerner EMR
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment for staff and patients
