Overview

Onsite: this position requires a minimum of 5 days per week on-site to support cross-functional collaboration and professional growth.
Responsibilities- Develops automated inspection equipment programs to meet drawing specifications.
- Applies GD&T to inspection test methods.
- Maintains qualification and calibrations on automated inspection equipment.
- Collaborates with equipment manufacturers to schedule maintenance and service activities.
- Troubleshoots production problems and performs root cause analysis on equipment, fixtures, inspection methods and parts.
- Ensures data integrity of inspection methods from the inspection equipment into InfinityQS.
- Stays current on new technology and innovations in automated inspection.
- Requires minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent (U.S.), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries).
- Experience with CMM Programming, Zeiss Calypso, Hexagon PCDMIS, and vision inspection equipment is preferred.
- Experience with drafting and inspection, InfinityQS, and quality systems in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, or similar quality/regulatory standards.
- Ability to analyze quality data and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
- Experience mentoring peers or serving as a technical resource across teams.
- Advanced experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting investigations, CAPA, audits, and root cause analysis.
- Experience with InfinityQS and data-driven decision making.

Benefits & Compensation (U.S.)Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excluding Puerto Rico): $64,400.00 – $96,600.00. This position may be eligible for an Operations Incentive Plan (OIP). Benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA/ Healthcare FSA, life insurance, disability leave, retirement plans, paid time off, holidays, employee stock purchase plan, and more, subject to eligibility and IRS rules.
