Quality Engineer I
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop quality procedures, specifications, and standards.
- Support CAPA/corrective and preventive actions.
- Collect and analyze gauge and product evaluation data.
- Support new product quality requirements, including gauges, materials, and inspection methods.
- Work with suppliers to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Perform product testing, inspection, and audits.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, suppliers, and other functions.
Must-Have
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Basic quality engineering knowledge.
- Blueprint reading & GD&T.
- FMEA and product testing.
- Basic knowledge of FDA QSR / ISO regulations and Design Assurance.
- Experience with CMM and Optical Comparator.
- Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- CQE certification.
- Medical device experience, especially orthopedic products.
- Supplier quality experience.
- Up to 20% travel.
