We are currently hiring an experienced Quality Technician for a manufacturing company that produces components for the automotive industry. This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with previous quality experience who is comfortable working overtime when production requires it.

Quality Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 19.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Third Shift (Sunday through Thursday from 10:45pm to 07:00am)

• Perform quality inspections on manufactured automotive components
• Inspect finished and in-process parts for defects and nonconforming material
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment as required
• Verify parts meet established specifications, measurements, and quality standards
• Complete required quality documentation, inspection reports, and production records
• Identify, document, and report quality issues or defective products
• Work closely with production and machine operators to address quality concerns
• Follow established inspection procedures and customer quality requirements
• Maintain accurate records and ensure quality standards are consistently followed

Quality Technician

Qualifications:

• Previous Quality Technician experience required
• Manufacturing quality experience strongly preferred
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers preferred
• Ability to read and understand measurements, specifications, and inspection requirements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
• Good/stable work history and dependable attendance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must be able to work 3rd shift
• Must be flexible to work overtime and occasional 10–12 hour shifts when required

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
