Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. They help provide a more connected, convenient and compassionate health experience by serving customers and supporting store operations.

• Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively resolving potential service issues.
• Giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering assistance locating additional items.
• Accurately performing cashier duties, handling cash, checks and credit card transactions with precision and following company policies.
• Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing information and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Supporting opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Providing customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assisting pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities.
• Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally or 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting.
• Using visual acuity to perform tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts.

• At least 16 years of age.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred but not Required.
