Analytics Engineer, Product

Reporting to the Senior Analytics Engineer, this role focuses on modelling data to provide clean, accurate data to power decision‑making and the product, transforming, testing, and validating data.

• Develop, test, and maintain robust dimensional data models from diverse data sources including first‑party data, third‑party APIs, SFTP, and other external sources.
• Enhance the efficiency and performance of data models, focusing on ease of use, accessibility, runtimes, and waste elimination.
• Build and maintain high‑quality data products, both internal and external.
• Advise product development on analytical requirements for new feature releases and ensure the data warehouse incorporates changes effectively.
• Use knowledge of Fresha's product and data models to analyse feature performance and support product operations via analytical queries and dashboards.
• Develop comprehensive data documentation to maintain consistency across the team.

• Expert knowledge of SQL.
• Experience building and testing high‑quality data modelling pipelines.
• Understanding of data platform and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with a modern data stack; dbt is a must.
• Interest in improving performance and efficiency of data models and systems, with guidance from seniors.
• Good communication skills in English (C1 or higher) and willingness to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Desire to contribute to product development decisions through data architecture best practices and insights.
• Creative thinking and problem‑solving abilities; proactive and autonomous approach.
• Responsible AI tool proficiency—use AI to deliver reliable results while maintaining control.

• Good Polish language skills.
• Experience driving product decisions and taking ownership of features.
• Familiarity with Fivetran, Airflow, Snowflake, Plotly, Starrocks, Metabase.
• Experience writing ELT pipelines with SQL and Python.
• Experience in fast‑paced companies.
• Experience in fine‑tuning and controlling AI tools.
