Senior Tax Manager (CPA Required)
Salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per year

- Manage the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to tax laws and regulations.
- Utilize CCH software for tax return preparation, tax research, and tax planning.
- Conduct tax research and interpret tax laws to provide accurate advice to clients.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
- Liaise with federal and state tax authorities to resolve any tax-related issues.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff members.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure that clients are well informed about these changes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Participate in business development initiatives to expand the company's client base.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a strong understanding of federal and state tax laws.
- Proficiency in using CCH software for tax return preparation, tax research, and tax planning.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret tax laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in managing the preparation and review of tax returns.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and tax authorities.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify tax-saving opportunities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
