Our client, a well-established full-service CPA firm in Warwick, RI, is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to conduct high-quality audits and contribute to their dynamic team.

Location:

Warwick, RI (On-site with flexible hours)

Employment Type:

Full-time

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 (Based on experience) Competitive (based on experience)

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and auditing
  • Strong technical skills in audit execution and financial statement preparation
  • Proficiency with audit software, financial management systems, and accounting platforms (e.g., Quick Books)
Highly Preferred
  • Active CPA license
  • Non-profit and/or municipal audit experience
  • Background in a public accounting firm environment
  • Familiarity with grant compliance and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and complete financial audits for small businesses, non-profits, and municipal clients
  • Perform single audits in accordance with the Uniform Guidance
  • Ensure compliance with GAAS, Government Auditing Standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Prepare financial statements, audit work papers, and supporting documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Identify and communicate audit findings, recommendations, and areas for client improvement
  • Assist in supervising and mentoring staff auditors
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients as a trusted point of contact
  • Collaborate with managers and partners to deliver timely, high-quality audit engagements
