Financial Reporting Manager

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 Base + Bonus Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and management reporting packages
  • Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger activity
  • Analyze financial results and provide meaningful variance analysis and business insights
  • Partner closely with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning initiatives
  • Manage, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain a strong internal control environment
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Coordinate external audit activities and support regulatory reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to support strategic business objectives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA required
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
  • Insurance industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
