With major K-12 and community projects queued up including a recently awarded $50M school redevelopment they are expanding their field leadership team.

Job Description

• Lead on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout on public, education, and commercial projects.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal project teams.
• Maintain project schedules, daily reports, site logistics planning, and safety compliance.
• Oversee quality control, sequencing, and phasing especially on active school renovation sites.
• Problem-solve in the field to ensure timely progress and alignment with project plans/specs.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Rhode Island subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with permitting, regulations, and safety standards.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of superintendent experience ideally as a lead on ground-up and renovation projects.
• Experience with academic, municipal, or public-sector construction (RI experience strongly preferred).
• Deep familiarity with Rhode Island subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers.
• Strong understanding of construction phasing, scheduling, safety coordination, and site operations.
• Proven ability to manage complex job sites independently with professionalism and urgency.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
