Pay: $42 - $50 per hour

• License & Certification:
  Licensed dental hygienist

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
• Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
• Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to strict infection control protocols.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term health.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including documentation review and updates within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems eg. Carestack
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and practicing aseptic techniques consistently.

• Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week

• Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and record management.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical coding, and documentation review processes.
• Experience with pediatric dentistry and pediatrics-specific care approaches for young patients.
• Skilled in chairside assisting with a focus on infection control, aseptic technique, and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Ability to accurately measure vital signs and recognize abnormal findings that may require further medical assessment.
• Familiarity with general dentistry procedures, medical imaging techniques, and medical terminology relevant to dental practice.
• Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse patient needs across all age groups.
