Step into an impactful role supporting students and schools as a School Psychologist in the dynamic community near Warwick, RI. These contract positions begin at the start of the new school year and run through mid-June, offering flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules. Successful candidates bring a keen understanding of behavioral, academic, and emotional assessment. With a commitment to in-person collaboration, you'll partner with staff and families to promote student well-being and help students access resources to thrive.

Qualifications:
  • Active state licensure qualifying you to practice as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated proficiency in school-based evaluations, consultation, and counseling
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to analyze data, develop intervention plans, and support implementation
  • Commitment to professional ethics and ongoing development
  • Availability for onsite work throughout the school year as required
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments to identify student strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Facilitate small group or individual counseling sessions
  • Participate in IEP and 504 meetings; provide insights and recommendations
  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with state and school guidelines
  • Engage in ongoing communication with parents, educators, and administrators
  • Adapt support services based on evolving caseload requirements
