Special Education Teacher
Special Education Teacher on a 36-week contract in Warwick, Rhode Island, earning up to $55 per hour. The role involves delivering individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, supporting classroom inclusion, and collaborating with educators and families. Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs
- Deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning styles
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to facilitate inclusion
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student development
- Standard education requirements
- Standard certification requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in special education
- Must meet facility requirements, demonstrate flexibility for schedule and floating needs, and possess excellent communication and adaptability skills
- Premium pay at rates 13% above market average, with weekly direct deposit and next-day pay features
