Description
LOCATION
:
Various Cities/Towns in Rhode Island
SALARY
: $20/hr, Part-time; no benefits
- Applicants will conduct a developmental screening of children ages 3-5, prior to kindergarten entry. The intent of screening is to identify children who may have a disability or developmental delay and who therefore require further evaluation to determine eligibility for special education.
- Screeners should have experience and enjoy working with young children.
- Successful applicants will receive training in the specific screening tests to be administered.
- Child Outreach screeners will be assigned to various school districts and will be supervised by school district personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
- Screeners typically screen 3 hours per day, and the number of days will vary based on school district requests.
- All screeners must pass a R.I. Background Check as a condition of employment.
