About the RoleAs an Electronics Technician 1, you will play a crucial role in the durable goods manufacturing sector by ensuring the functionality and reliability of electronic systems and components. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of production processes. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to implement improvements and modifications to existing systems.
This position requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of electronic principles to ensure that all products meet quality standards. Ultimately, your work will help to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction in a competitive market.
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits and components.
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronic devices.
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology or a related field.
- Certification in electronics or related technical field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic components using specialized tools and equipment.
- Assist in the assembly and testing of new electronic devices and systems.
- Document repair processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on product design and functionality.
The required skills for this position include a solid foundation in electronics principles, which will be applied daily to diagnose and repair equipment. Attention to detail is essential, as you will need to identify subtle issues that could affect performance. Strong problem-solving skills will enable you to develop effective solutions quickly, minimizing downtime in production.
