Job Description
Scope and Impact of Position:
Direct responsibility for both product design, development of new and improved products as well as provide leadership and oversight of cross‑functional team(s) to launch products in global markets.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to successfully launch new medical device products in global markets, ensuring alignment across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and commercial functions.
- Drive product design and development using concurrent engineering principles, ensuring alignment with design objectives and customer/user needs.
- Oversee prototype development, testing activities, and design control processes (e.g., DFMEA, verification & validation), while defining product specifications, materials, and processes.
- Collaborate with clinicians and external partners to refine product designs, support production scale‑up, and identify opportunities for innovation and cost improvements.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets while communicating progress, risks, and key decisions to leadership and stakeholders.
- BS degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Complete knowledge of the product development process, engineering principles, concepts, and application.
- Demonstrated and continuous track record of contributing to the development of new products with exposure to all elements from concept to commercialization.
- Utilizes technical knowledge to lead the development and design of products and processes, performs tests, generates technical documents and analyzes problems with limited supervision on projects consisting of moderate technical risk.
- Provides technical solutions to a wide range of problems of a moderate to high complexity.
- Makes decisions that require choosing between options to solve moderate to complex technical problems.
- Ability to travel approximately up to 25%.
We prioritize on‑site collaboration and require a minimum of 4 days of in‑office presence per week.
