Our well‑established independent retirement and wealth planning firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Lead Financial Advisor to join our team in Warwick, Rhode Island. Unlike many advisory firms, we invest heavily in marketing and business development, providing qualified prospects directly to our advisors. Through educational workshops, television, radio, digital marketing, and other proven lead‑generation strategies, we create opportunities and put appointments directly on your calendar.
This role is ideal for an advisor who enjoys meeting with prospective clients, building long‑term relationships, delivering personalized financial guidance, and helping clients navigate important financial decisions—without the burden of cold calling or constant prospecting.
Position SummaryThe Lead Financial Advisor is responsible for developing new client relationships and providing ongoing service and advice to existing clients. This position focuses on conducting client meetings, analyzing retirement and investment strategies, performing portfolio and risk assessments, and delivering recommendations designed to help clients achieve their financial objectives.
The ideal candidate combines strong interpersonal and analytical skills with a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience. Successful candidates will be highly organized, detail‑oriented, technologically proficient, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Position Responsibilities:- Prepare, present, and implement customized financial plans
- Assist clients with annuities, life, long‑term care, and managed money
- Provide financial planning advice to include investment, insurance, and retirement
- Develop, manage, and retain strong client relationships
- Assist main Advisor with meeting individual and team goals
- 3 Years prior experience working in the financial industry
- Must have RI Health and Life License
- Must have Series 65 or 66 License
- Working knowledge of computers and software
- Knowledge of key financial, investment and risk management concepts
