Rotating Schedule : Mon-Fri 3 days 9:30am-6pm, 1 evening 1:30pm-10pm, 1 weekend day 9:30am-6pm

** Responsibilities**

• Fill prescription items, package medications, and meet accuracy and productivity standards
• Label products appropriately, including cautionary labels
• Participate in pharmacy inventory management
• Check in drugs and supplies, stock shelves, and remove outdated items
• Prepare medications, including non-sterile compounding
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Process returned medications for credit or destruction
• Assist in training new employees
• Additional tasks:
• Work in the Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) Room
• Operate automated drug prepackaging machines
• Manage inventory, monitor pharmaceutical levels, and identify expired medications
• Input patient data and medication orders
• Package IV medications and sanitize IV room and equipment
• Service facility-based medication dispensing machines

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; pharmacy experience and medical terminology knowledge
• Computer proficiency and medication recognition
• Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, team player, effective communicator
• Pharmacy Technician license

Desired:
Long Term Care pharmacy experience.
