Hasbro Children’s Hospital, a teaching hospital of The Warren Alpert Medical School of University, has an exciting opportunity for a pediatric psychologist working with medical inpatient children and adolescents experiencing co‑occurring psychiatric disorders. This is the chance to join a world‑class, multi‑disciplinary program.

• Treat adolescents in a 16‑bed inpatient unit
• Care primarily for patients with co‑existing medical and psychiatric disorders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams developing behavior plans and provide individual, family, and group therapy
• Multidisciplinary team is comprised of pediatricians, child psychiatrists, psychologists, an advanced practice psychiatric nurse, social workers, pediatric nurses, mental health workers, and nutritionists
• Opportunity to teach and provide supervision
• Collaborative research opportunities

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Child Psychology
• Licensed or license‑eligible in Rhode Island
• Desire to work in a team‑based care model
• Experience working in an inpatient setting
• Bring a passion for helping youth with medical and psychiatric issues
• Good sense of humor and a “roll‑up your sleeves” mentality
