Hybrid Child Behavioral Psychologist & Therapy Leader

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Supervise a team of bachelor’s-level Mobile Exposure Coaches who deliver a significant portion of the direct patient care in the field, supervise Coaches in daily group sessions and individual coaching supervision and mentorship.
• Facilitate and observe group patient therapy sessions.
• Lead and engage in family therapy sessions.
• Review and evaluate Braver Challenges and other content in the Braver mobile app.
• Collaborate with the Braver leadership team and colleagues to continually enhance and evolve methodologies and technologies.

• PhD or PsyD degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensed as a psychologist in Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island, or licensed in another state and willing to become licensed in MA and/or RI.
• Experience treating children and adolescents with anxiety disorders using exposure therapy (preferred, not required).
• Commitment to evidence‑based psychotherapy.
• Comfort with learning and using new technologies.
• Desire to work in a collaborative, non‑hierarchical team environment.
• Passion for the mission and adaptability in a fast‑paced startup atmosphere.

This is a hybrid role. Virtual treatment and team collaboration can be conducted remotely. Some onsite work will be required at the Warwick, RI office. Supervision of evening group therapy sessions will be scheduled to accommodate school schedules.

Salary range: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience.
