Job Summary
Care New England is seeking a full time Bariatric Surgical Physician Assistant to join our robust Bariatric team at Kent and Women & Infants Hospitals. This provider will be an integral part of the department that is built on the premise of collaborative, team-oriented providers with intersecting skills and interests that include providing quality medical care.
- Schedule:
Full-time Monday-Friday daytime work - Job responsibilities include:
- OR 1st assist in bariatric and general cases
- Inpatient management
- Outpatient clinic
- Work alongside experienced, reputable, collegial group of physicians and advanced practice providers (APP)
- Regular mentorship and collaboration amongst providers
- EPIC implemented system wide
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Certified by NCCPA.
- Active Rhode Island PA, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
- 1+ prior surgical experience required, knowledge of robotic bariatric surgery preferred
