Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law
• Verify the suitability of prescribed medicines
• Maintain confidential records, ensuring accurate management of patient records and pharmacy files
• Advise patients on medication usage and potential reactions
• Provide consultations on prescription and non-prescription medicines

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
• Licensed by the state pharmacy board
