Qualifications include:

• An active license

• Short and long term care experience preferred

• Knowledge of proper body mechanics and safety precautions

• Good interdisciplinary communication

Responsibilities include:

• Performs nursing care procedures following the assigned resident comprehensive plan of care

• Accurate documentation in accordance with patient care

• Provide patient-centered care to residents

• Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations with others, including employees, residents, and visitors

• Adheres to facility and departmental policies and work rules/regulations

• Be respectful and compassionate to residents, families, and other caregivers
