- Base Pay $23.00 / Hour
Duties:
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing the daily operations of the stewarding department
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of all banquet and catering areas
- Enforces proper cleaning routines for serviceware, equipment, work spaces, etc.
- Assist with food production and plating during banquets and events
- ensuring department is adequately stocked all necessary supplies, ensuring workers have everything necessary to complete their jobs.
- Manages all equipment, china, flatware, and glassware(adequate clean supplies of each) as well as conducting regular inventory counts.
- Handle dishwashing duties as needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations in food handling and sanitation
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Previous experience in a hotel or banquet setting is preferred
