Accrual of 0.0654 hours PTO per hour worked up to 136 hours per calendar year; six paid holidays per year and up to four paid floating holidays.
SUMMARYThe Guest Experience Associate provides exceptional hospitality to guests in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Responsibilities include parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and delivering guest services during arrivals and departures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, coworkers, and clients; greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly manner.
- Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously; open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed; conduct thorough room presentations and assist with room changes.
- Provide directions, taxi, reservation, and other inquiries; offer information about outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and main attractions.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures; issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks prior to issuing keys.
- Complete and maintain all ticket information, including key tags, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, and claim check receipts; calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed.
- Assume all duties as directed and remain available to respond to guests throughout the shift; manage all responsibilities within a 100% time allocation.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED. - Licensure:
Valid driver’s license for the state of employment or within commutable distance. - Ages:
Must be at least 18 years old. - Experience:
One month related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Ability to read and write standard English; comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Effective presentation skills in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide integers; understand 24‑hour and military time; calculate rates and revenue.
- Desirable:
Manual transmission operation and parallel parking.
Work requires regular talking or hearing; frequent sitting or standing for extended periods; running, walking, handling objects; reaching, climbing stairs; visual acuity in close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception; lifting up to 100lbs occasionally, 50lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly. Work is performed outdoors for extended periods, subject to extreme heat and cold. Travel of up to 5% may be required.
