CME Corp. is seeking a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support recruiting operations, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives within a growing organization. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys collaborating across departments and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

In this role, you will support recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR compliance documentation, and employee engagement efforts, helping ensure a positive experience for both candidates and employees.

To be successful in this role, candidates should have prior experience supporting recruiting and onboarding processes and working within an HRIS such as ADP Workforce Now.

This hybrid position is based out of our corporate office in Warwick, RI, and reports to the Human Resources Manager. This role will be fully on-site during the initial training period (typically the first 60–90 days), after which a hybrid schedule will be implemented. Candidates must be able to work on-site as required, and the weekly schedule may be adjusted based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post openings in various job boards, with professional organizations, and social media sites
  • Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate next-round interviews with hiring managers and upper-level management
  • Assist with tracking candidates throughout the entire hiring process and proper processing of all applicant and new hire paperwork
Onboarding & HRIS Administration
  • Responsible for onboarding, communication and pre-employment processes (background checks, DOT physicals, and drug screenings)
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding workflows in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring timely completion of all onboarding steps and documentation
  • Prepare onboarding documentation and ensure accurate completion, tracking, and compliance of all required employment paperwork, including I-9 verification
  • Support and progressively lead new hire orientation sessions, including company policies, benefits overview, and onboarding processes
  • Assist with maintaining employee records and support audits within ADP Workforce Now and personnel files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with HR recordkeeping requirements
HR Administration & Employee Support
  • Monitor the HR email inbox, responding to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide front-line support to employees on HR-related questions, including onboarding, policies, and processes
  • Support HR reporting, audits, and recordkeeping, including training documentation and certifications
  • Draft and distribute employee communications, including HR announcements and engagement-related updates
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and initiatives
  • Handle sensitive employee information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Contribute to HR projects and support process improvements, with a focus on understanding and following established procedures
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in HR coordination, recruiting, or HR administration, including exposure to onboarding and HR processes
  • Experience using ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting high-volume hiring or multi-location organizations
  • Familiarity with HR compliance documentation such as I-9 verification
  • Experience assisting with employee engagement or HR initiatives
