The RoleWe are seeking an Employment and Civil Rights Litigation Attorney to join our busy practice. We are looking for a driven litigator who is ready to handle a diverse caseload involving workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, FMLA violations, and civil rights matters, from intake to trial and appeal.

Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of employment and civil rights litigation matters from intake to resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discovery requests/responses.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex employment law issues (state and federal).
- Represent clients in administrative proceedings (RICHR, MCAD, EEOC), depositions, mediations, and court hearings.
- Communicate directly with clients, providing compassionate and clear legal guidance during vulnerable times.
- Assist with trial preparation and strategy.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Rhode Island Bar (or pending admission/willingness to waive in). Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is a plus.
- Strong interest in Employment Law and Civil Rights litigation.
- Excellent legal writing and research and skills.
- Strong oral advocacy skills and confidence in courtroom settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) is a significant asset, though not required.
- Base Salary: $80,000-$140,000 (negotiable based on experience).
- Incentive Pay:
Performance-based bonuses and fee-split structure. - Retirement: 401(k) plan.
