OverviewMaintenance Engineer is responsible for supervising the properties maintenance and routine processes to make it fully functional, enjoyable, and safe for our guests. Engineers are self-started with an insatiable curiosity, a superb work ethic and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance and repair duties, including HVAC, refrigeration systems, plumbing, lighting, furniture, sheetrock, and painting.
- Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all guests, vendors, contractors, and employees.
- Complete grounds work as directed by Chief Engineer.
- Responsible for alerting the General Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that has taken place or may occur.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
- Respond to all guest and colleague maintenance issues in a timely fashion and keep accurate record of assigned tasks; must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Minor Maintenance (Electrical, Plumbing, painting, caulking).
- Snow Removal (must be able to shovel snow).
- A keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills.
- Pleasant and friendly demeanor.
- Able to work as a team and independently.
- Flexible working hours.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
- Physical mobility and stamina.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Ability to follow instructions.
