City Personnel is partnering with a reputable and well-established Rhode Island organization to recruit an Assistant Portfolio Manager
. This opportunity offers a refreshing alternative to traditional property management roles—there are no leasing duties, tenant relations, or on-site property responsibilities. Instead, this position is fully office-based and focused on communication, coordination, and operational support for condominium associations.
In this role, the Assistant Portfolio Manager will oversee a designated portfolio of communities and serve as the primary liaison between association boards, internal departments, and third-party vendors. With dedicated in-house accounting, maintenance, administrative, and leadership teams, you’ll be supported within a structured, collaborative, and professional environment.
- Annual compensation typically ranges from $60,000 to just over $70,000, inclusive of bonuses
- Performance-based bonus program offering up to 6% additional annual earnings
- Most holidays off
- Hybrid work schedule with remote Wednesdays
- Stable, professional, team-oriented office setting
- No tenant interaction and no leasing responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison for assigned condominium association boards
- Respond to board and community inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate vendors and assist with scheduling maintenance and service requests
- Triage incoming issues and route accounting, operational, or maintenance matters to the appropriate internal teams
- Support boards through decision-making processes while ensuring proper governance and approval procedures are followed
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and correspondence
- Assist with daily portfolio operations to promote effective communication and timely resolution of issues
- Prior experience in property management, association management, customer service, or administrative coordination preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple communities and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with office software and property management systems is a plus
- Detail-oriented, professional, and collaborative work style
