Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair on a wide variety of manufacturing systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment, using diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer specifications, hand and power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Follow company guidelines to ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections are complete in a timely manner.
- Complete scheduled checks reporting and correcting any malfunctions and unsafe conditions.
- Provide feedback to supervisors to improve routine procedures, part availability and job preparation.
- Demonstrate exemplary housekeeping and care of machinery and work areas.
- Provide assistance in the plant involving other types of general maintenance work when needed.
- Complete repairs in a safe and timely manner, ensuring all special PPE is utilized according to company rules and policies, following job-related SOPs and JHA's.
- Provide training and feedback to the operators and production supervisors.
- Inspect work to assure proper installation, maintenance, and repair of building and equipment.
- Requisition supplies, materials, tools, machine parts, and other necessary equipment.
- 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent including technical training.
- Experience and knowledge around the functions and designs of bearings, motors, gearboxes.
- Demonstrated safety knowledge and positive safety behaviors.
- Pro‑Active and Predictive Maintenance knowledge or training desired but not required.
- Knowledge of reliability centered maintenance and ability to support investigations and develop mitigation plans to address findings.
- Ability to navigate notifications, confirmations, work orders, and materials.
- Ability to create and maintain good working relationships with all co‑workers.
- Good judgment in recognizing scope of responsibilities.
- Ability to read, write and communicate information effectively and accurately.
- Good problem‑solving skills, be able to work independently, and be able to do highly accurate work that requires concentration and physical effort.
- Ability to concentrate in a busy work environment.
