This 2nd Shift will run from 2PM - 10PM.##
** WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
*** Lead 2nd shift production employees, including training, directing work, enforcing safety standards, mentoring team and evaluating and coaching performance.
* Ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees, emphasizing prevention of potential problems and hazardous conditions, while supporting nVent's safety programs.
* Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making as well as recognizing them for outstanding work.
* Conduct performance evaluations of team, recognizing dedication and addressing low performance issues.
* Mentor Team Leaders and Team Members for career/talent development.
* Partner with human resources on employee relations to ensure accurate procedures and practices are followed.
* Review and submit payroll hours on a weekly basis, entering exception hours as needed.
* Ensure that the team follows the policies and procedures of nVent Technical Solutions##
** YOU HAVE:
*** High school diploma or equivalent.
* 5+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
* 2+ years manufacturing leadership experience preferred.## ##
