Clean Room Operator

This role involves performing precise clean room assembly of textile-based medical devices, using magnifiers and micrometers to fit, align, and adjust parts while maintaining accurate documentation for all products. You will work in a controlled clean room environment with advanced manufacturing equipment to support the production of innovative biomedical textile components.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clean room assembly of textile-based medical devices, ensuring accurate fitting, alignment, and adjustment of parts.
  • Use magnifiers, micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools to inspect and verify component dimensions and quality.
  • Follow detailed written instructions, work orders, and documentation in English to complete assembly tasks correctly and on time.
  • Document all products and processes accurately, including recording measurements, test results, and production data.
  • Inspect assembled components and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Handle and assemble biomedical textile materials in accordance with clean room protocols and manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area within the clean room environment.
  • Follow all safety, cleanliness, and contamination control procedures required for medical device manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to address issues, improve processes, and ensure consistent product quality.
  • Successfully complete and adhere to warehouse and production testing requirements as part of the role.
Essential Skills
  • Prior experience with medical device assembly in a clean room environment.
  • Proven ability to perform clean room assembly work with a focus on precision and quality.
  • Ability to read and write in English to understand work instructions, complete documentation, and communicate effectively.
  • Basic math skills to perform measurements, interpret dimensions, and complete production-related calculations.
  • Experience using magnifiers, micrometers, and calipers for measurement and inspection.
  • Ability to accurately document products, measurements, and production activities.
  • Capability to pass required warehouse tests related to the role.
  • Attention to detail and strong focus on quality in a manufacturing or production setting.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working with biomedical textiles or similar textile-based products in a manufacturing environment.
  • Clean room assembly, inspection, or production of medical or technical devices.
  • Familiarity with documentation practices in regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Comfort using inspection tools such as magnifiers, micrometers, and calipers for detailed work.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role involving medical devices or related products.
