Volunteer - Pet​/Animal Related​/Special Skills

FURRY FELLAS IS WORKING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE COMMUNITY!

In addition to providing pet care services, Furry Fellas has a group of dedicated animal-loving volunteers who help organize and run community, social and fundraising events. We work with the local animal/pet community, various animal rescues, non‑profits, animal rights groups, animal sanctuaries, etc. to host fun events that support the local community and non‑profit organizations.

We are in it for the animals! In our volunteer efforts, we focus on organizing our events without the use of animal products - without serving animal‑based foods and without the use of products that are tested on animals.

We have various volunteer opportunities available in which you can share your passion and talents with others!

• Helping us coordinate and run our community and fundraising events
• Creating flyers/images
• Helping with admin work on those events
• Photography
• DJ an event
• Play music at an event
• Donating your time/expertise to host a fundraising class

No regular commitment of hours required. Sign up for the meetings, events or roles that you like.

This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of animals, pet parents and our local community all while meeting new people and building lasting new relationships!

Furry Fellas is also an official Certifying Organization of the President’s Volunteer Service Awards!

Those volunteering with Furry Fellas are eligible to receive presidential recognition awards, certificates, medals, etc. Those who volunteer with other organizations in addition to Furry Fellas, you can have all of your volunteer hours combined from the two organizations to receive presidential award recognition through Furry Fellas!
