Family Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care

Providence Community Health Centers is seeking Family Nurse Practitioners to manage their own patient panel and work with a supportive team across eight primary care clinics in Providence, Rhode Island.

Key features of the role:

• Work‑life balance: full‑time schedule of four clinic weekdays plus one day of remote administrative time; weekends off.

  work with nurses, physicians, specialists, behavioral health counselors, and pharmacists.
• Staff support: lead a team that includes an RN and a medical assistant.
• In‑house referrals: access to optometry, podiatry, dental, rheumatology, and asthma‑allergy clinics.
• EMR:
  Epic with AI scribe and translation support.

• Family Nurse Practitioner with 2‑3+ years of primary‑care experience.
• Medical license in Rhode Island.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Can choose an adult‑only or lifespan panel based on experience and interests.
