What

you’ll do

Assist the physician assigned on their clinic days, including oversight of chart preparation, directing medical assistants, and obtaining necessary information for physicians. When not on the floor with the Physician’s team, the Clinical Lead will report to and be an integral part of the Clinic Leadership team.

Responsibilities/Duties
  • Act as a Patient Navigator for the assigned team or float when required.
  • Schedule new/established patients by request of physicians/physician assistants.
  • Assist with administrative duties.
  • Oversee chart preparation prior to patient arrival.
  • Verify the patients’ medical record is complete and accurate.
  • Assist providers in treatment of patients by obtaining histories and vitals, preparing injections, setting up sterile fields, suture/staple removal, dressing changes and any on‑site needs of the patient.
  • Process and fulfill physician‑approved prescription requests.
  • Send referrals to specialists and pain centers as directed by physician.
  • Assist providers with completion of their notes within 24hours of clinic as needed.
  • Assist in training new hires as needed and be an on‑site resource for Patient Navigators and Medical Assistants.
  • Quality‑assure the team’s performance on the clinic floor.
  • Remain accountable and follow through on all commitments made to patients.
  • Facilitate Clinical Lead duties within the clinic and office.
  • Advise the team of any employee performance issues.
  • Ensure that non‑serious and serious adverse events are properly documented and reported.
  • Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
