Job Summary:Hire Care Services, a streamlined recruitment provider for healthcare operations, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team in Warwick, RI. As a Registered Nurse at Greenwood Center, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, oversee clinical operations on your assigned unit, and support nursing staff in a collaborative, resident-centered environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, and safe nursing practices
- Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other nursing support staff on assigned units
- Administer medications and treatments; monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and update care plans
- Accurately transcribe and carry out physician orders
- Perform wound care, treatments, and skilled nursing interventions as ordered
- Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to physicians and leadership
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Provide hands‑on clinical care including wound care, IV therapy, tube feedings, suctioning, and colostomy care
- Conduct rounds to ensure resident safety and quality of care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Participate in care conferences and care plan updates
- Promote teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication
- Assist with state surveys and inspections as needed
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing (RN) program
- Current, unencumbered State of Rhode Island RN license
- Current CPR certification (ACLS preferred, not required)
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (not required)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with professionalism and tact
