As an ER Travel Nurse, you will work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. You will:

• Provide basic bedside care
• Clean and bandage wounds
• Provide IV therapy
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies

Additional duties include performing minor medical operations, advising patients and family on illnesses or injuries, planning long-term care needs, documenting medical history, checking for allergies, obtaining vital signs, and monitoring emotional and physical well-being.

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certification, 5 years
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift 20 pounds, up to 50 pounds when necessary
• Good coping skills for stress and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds
