Job Summary

Care New England is seeking a full‑time Endocrine Surgical Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery Program in Warwick, Rhode Island. The program focuses on the diagnosis and surgical treatment of endocrine diseases such as thyroid cancer, benign thyroid disease, thyroid nodules, hyperparathyroidism, Graves’ disease, and adrenal nodules. You will be an integral part of a collaborative, team‑oriented department dedicated to providing quality medical care.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule:

    4 ten‑hour days
  • Assist in endocrine surgeries as first‑assistant (OR)
  • Perform pre‑ and post‑operative evaluations
  • Manage patient follow‑up care
  • Coordinate treatment plans
  • Work alongside a national leader in endocrine surgery and a collegial group of advanced practice providers
  • Receive regular mentorship and collaborate with providers; be trained in ultrasound‑guided thyroid FNAs
  • Use EPIC implemented system wide
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Certified by NCCPA, ANCC, or AANPCB
  • Active Rhode Island PA, CSR, and DEA license or eligible
