Position Overview

Store – PROV-WARWICK, RI – responsible for coordinating events such as kids birthday parties and craft classes, providing customer service, handling operational tasks, and maintaining store recovery and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events for guests of all ages, ensuring a fun and engaging experience.
  • Demonstrate and instruct participants on craft projects and face‑painting activities.
  • Implement party add‑ons such as goody bags, balloons, and other elements per company standards.
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team, adjusting plans based on feedback.
  • Complete administrative tasks: answering emails, making phone calls, and handling paperwork.
  • Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience.
  • Promote and enroll customers in Rewards programs and Private Label Credit Cards.
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys.
  • Assist with Omni‑channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram tasks.
  • Perform in‑stock optimization (SISO), AD set duties, and merchandise recovery and maintenance.
  • Engage in shrink and safety programs and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
  • Cross‑train in Custom Framing sales and production.
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and capable of handling job stress.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with guests of all ages and co‑workers.
  • Experience working with children and managing children’s events.
  • Strong written, verbal, and non‑verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem‑solving skills.
  • Retail and/or customer service experience (preferred).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
  • Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
Compensation

Total Base Pay Range for this Position: $16.00 – $18.80 per hour.
