- Welcome all customers and set expectations with them.
- Custom fit glasses, precisely place prescription into lenses.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
- Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
- Accurately and thoroughly use technology under time pressure, showing exceptional product knowledge and using appropriate tools.
- Proactively explore root causes of issues, forward‑thinking to ensure customers are satisfied, expectations exceed.
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities.
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPI and competencies.
- Maintain store appearance, help keep store clean, attractive, organized.
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
- Display resourcefulness and self‑motivation with a desire for continual learning, improvement and results.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Strong customer service skills: communication, listening and team building.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet.
- Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
- Embrace new technology and change.
- Previous customer service and retail experience.
Pay Range: $32.29 - $37.39 per hour. Employees may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, complemented by a first‑class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off and vacation, and various employee discounts.
