Compensation
The base hourly rate is $18.19 per hour, with additional monthly targeted commissions of $1,471. Total variable targeted annual compensation is $55,487 (average hourly $26.68). Top 10% earn ~$72,700 (average hourly $34.99).
Daily hours and shift patterns; schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. No remote work.
Responsibilities- Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and offer suggestions based on customer wants and needs.
- Meet or exceed targets regarding customer experience, sales, and retention.
- Assist with opening/closing of store retail environment.
- Properly handle cash.
- Participate in workshops, special events, and product demos.
- Support fellow sales agents when needed.
- Continuously expand knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings via regular training.
- May be required to work in other locations within the same geographical area.
- Minimum: HS diploma/GED or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively sell using a consultative, solutions-based approach.
- Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base.
- Multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, service-oriented team environment.
- Be mobile within the store for long periods of time.
- Computer literacy with aptitude for learning communication products and services.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to lift 25–50 pounds for stock room inventory.
- Preferred: some college with focus in sales, business, or management.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a related field (sales, retail, service).
- Preferred:
Experience selling wireless/mobile products.
