This full-time, on-site Automotive Sales role is based at our Warwick, RI location. The Automotive Sales team member will engage with customers to understand their needs, present suitable vehicle options, and guide them through the entire sales process from test drive to delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with customers on features and financing options, maintaining product knowledge across multiple brands, and following up with prospects and existing customers to support long-term relationships.
The role also involves managing documentation accurately, coordinating with service and finance departments, and contributing to showroom readiness and merchandising. This position is focused on delivering a professional, transparent, and customer-centered experience to support revenue growth and customer retention.
- Strong Automotive Sales experience with the ability to match customer needs to appropriate vehicles.
- Sales Consulting skills, including needs assessment, product presentation, and closing techniques.
- Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction capabilities, with a focus on clear communication and problem-solving.
- Customer Retention skills, including proactive follow-up, relationship building, and loyalty program engagement.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate various vehicle types.
- Professional demeanor, reliable work ethic, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Prior dealership or retail sales experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education a plus.
