Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Hospital staff, patients and visitors as well as ensuring the physical security of all Hospital buildings and equipment.
Responsibilities- Interact with visitors, patients and staff in a professional courteous manner. Observe and enforce all hospital policies, rules and regulations.
- Observe visitors and patients. Manage any unusual circumstances or difficulties. Maintain visitor control inside and outside of the hospital.
- Assist with Codes and Stats. Restrain patients when needed and watch for future disturbances. Conduct routine door checks. Maintain logs and reports.
- Monitor cameras and alarms as needed. Follow emergency procedures for bomb threats code 99 or helicopter pad landings.
- Make emergency deliveries or pick-up of medication, organs and blood and provide vehicle transportation for patients, visitors and employees as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
A high school diploma and a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent are preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
