Equipment Maintenance Technician
Job LocationVishay Electro-Films – Warwick, RI
PayPay Rate $25–$30 hourly based on experience.
Responsibilities- Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
- Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment
- Use test and diagnostic equipment as required
- Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required
- Perform equipment modifications as directed by Equipment engineer
- Calibrate equipment as needed
- Work with Process Engineering team on qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of related equipment maintenance experience required
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing is an added advantage
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Self-motivated and able to work with little to no supervision; excellent computer, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Comprehensive troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail required
- Ability to perform all work functions with required PPE
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
